N.C. State Baseball Coach and His Dog Both Bitten By A Copperhead Snake
N.C. State baseball coach Elliott Avent and his dog were both reportedly bitten by a venomous copperhead snake.
Avent, 60, was bit on his foot. He had to go to the hospital and receive a shot. His foot is still swollen, but he was released from the hospital this morning.
The Wolfpack play Louisville this weekend, but Avent will miss the series, as he can't travel.

Snakes are the worst.
Thankfully Avent - and, hopefully, his dog - are both OK.
