While it’s extremely early before 2021 recruits start making their college decision, it appears Nathan Bittle will have Duke and Kentucky vying for his services.
The two programs often go head-to-head for the top five-star talents in the country, and that looks like it could be the case again with Bittle. The Wildcats and the Blue Devils won’t be alone in the sweepstakes either, as Oregon and UCLA are also in pursuit.
The Ducks and the Bruins have been on the five-star forward’s list for an extended period of time. Meanwhile, it turns out that Duke and Kentucky just began showing interest in the Oregon native.
From Stock Risers’ Jake Weingarten:
Duke and Kentucky now have interest and will see 2021 five-star Nathan Bittle at some point this season, source told Stockrisers. One of the top bigs in the country.

Bittle is listed as the No. 17 recruit in the class of 2021, according to 247Sports.
Even though current projections anticipate Bittle to remain in Oregon, it’s hard to envision Duke or Kentucky losing out in a recruitment battle. After all, the two programs will have ample time to state their case.
It’ll be intriguing to see whether John Calipari or Mike Krzyzewski can reel in another talented prospect.
