It's only Tuesday but this week of college basketball is already shaping up to be special. With the ACC proving to be one of the best conferences in the country, No. 2 Duke will face No. 16 Louisville in an epic showdown tonight.

The Blue Devils are 5-0 on the road in conference play, which includes their victory over Virginia last weekend. Despite the lack of experience on Mike Krzyzewski's roster, the talented group of freshmen have shown they can compete at the highest level in hostile environments.

Duke will need another strong showing from its youngsters tonight, especially with Louisville preparing for a blackout on its home court.

Although the Cardinals sit toward the top half of the conference standings, the team fell short in overtime against Florida State over the weekend. Chris Mack can earn his most significant win of his brief coaching career with Louisville by defeating Duke.

One key matchup will be how Louisville defends Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett in the paint. The two superstars combine to average 44.9 points per game for Duke, and they can easily takeover at any given moment.

The Cardinals also need a strong performance from senior guard Christen Cunningham, who will most likely draw the attention of standout defender Tre Jones.

History sides with the Blue Devils for this matchup as they own a 9-6 record all-time in their meetings against the Cardinals.

Tipoff is set for 9 p.m. ET from KFC Yum! Center.

Rece Davis and Jimmy Dykes will call the action on ESPN.
