With the college basketball season roughly three months away, one of the top recruits from the 2021 class has announced major news involving his decision process. Paolo Banchero, a five-star forward from Seattle, has revealed two powerhouse programs he wants to visit.

Banchero is the No. 4 overall recruit and No. 1 power forward from his class, per 247Sports. He already has scholarship offers from 14 schools.

Washington is considered the favorite to land Banchero since it's his hometown school. Yet, the five-star recruit plans to visit two of the best programs in the country prior to making any decision.

According to Jake Weingarten of CatsIllustrated.com, Banchero wants to take official visits to Duke and Kentucky.

He doesn't currently have a set date for either visit, but he is hoping to take them toward the end of September.

If Banchero can't schedule an official visit by this fall, it's possible he can go in January.

Neither Duke or Kentucky have a commit from the 2021 class. As for their respective 2020 classes, both schools have landed at least one five-star recruit.

In addition to Duke and Kentucky being on Banchero's radar, the Washington native is also considering Gonzaga and North Carolina.

Paolo Banchero will have plenty of options to choose from as he could see more offers in the coming months.
