Paolo Banchero, an elite 2021 power forward, is set to hit the ground running with his recruitment this fall. The Washington native has mapped out his five official visits.

A few weeks ago, he said that Duke and Kentucky were in the mix, but that he wasn't sure when those visits will come. He'll make his way to both Durham and Lexington in October.

Those two powers are joined by North Carolina, which will host Banchero in late September. Following the Duke and Kentucky trips are those to Tennessee, and then Gonzaga rounds things out in January.

The glaring absence from that list of five is the University of Washington. The early 247Sports crystal ball predictions unanimously tabbed Banchero as a future Husky.

Of course, he may just be familiar, and local, enough that he doesn't feel as if he needs to use one of five official visits to the Seattle-based program. He can take unlimited unofficial visits. Still, it isn't a great sign for Mike Hopkins' program, at least taken without more context.

Banchero announced the dates for the five visits via Twitter:

Paolo Banchero has made a number of recruiting decisions in recent weeks. He recently made the choice to remain in the class of 2021, rather than reclassify up a year to 2020, so it will be a while before any of these programs see Banchero on the court.

247Sports ranks the Seattle product the No. 4 player in his class. He's the top power forward, and top player in Washington state.
