Tahj Rice spurned programs like Oregon and USC to commit to Duke, and he did it in style with a super hero-themed commitment video.
Rice, a four-star defensive end out of Louisville, is the No. 10 strongside defensive end in the class of 2018, per 247Sports. Louisville, Oregon, USC, and Virginia Tech were all finalists in his recruitment, and he does a nice fake-out with the hometown Cardinals in the video, produced by the Courier-Journal, but ultimately he chose the upstart Blue Devils.
Rice is the fifth player to commit to Duke's 2018 football recruiting class, and is the most highly-ranked member of that group at four stars. Duke's class now ranks 18th in the nation, and No. 5 in the ACC right now.
