Trevon Duval, 5-Star PG In 2017 Class, Commits To Duke

The Blue Devils landed a massive commitment this morning.

Trevon Duval, a five-star point guard in the 2017 class, has made his decision.

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound prospect from New Jersey announced on The Players' Tribune that he's committed to Duke.

Duval chose the Blue Devils over Arizona, Baylor, Kansas and Seton Hall, among others.

Here's what he said before making his decision:

Basketball has taken me from Queens, to Delaware, to places I never even dreamed of when I first started dribbling. I couldn’t have made it here without my dad, who has always kept me hungry, and my mom, who has always kept me humble. And with their blessing, today, I’m ready to announce the next step in my journey.

Duval should start right away for Duke next year, especially with it looking like Frank Jackson is going to stay in the NBA Draft.
