The president of the University of Miami has now weighed in on the controversial ending to his school's football game against Duke.
The Hurricanes, of course, beat the Blue Devils on a miraculous kickoff return for a touchdown that featured eight laterals. There were some missed penalty calls on the play; the ACC admitted that the officials for the game screwed up. Some people think Miami should forfeit the win and give it to Duke.
Julio Frenk, Miami's president, is not one of those people. He released the following statement this morning, expressing disappointment in those who question the legitimacy of the Hurricanes' win.
As tough as it is for Duke fans to do so, it's time to just move on.
