Video: Duke Releases "Summer Grind" Feature On Grayson Allen

Duke basketball has been releasing "Summer Grind" feature videos all summer long, highlighting players' offseason mentality as the Blue Devils prepare to defend their title. Having already covered five-star freshmen Brandon Ingram and Chase Jeter and graduate center Marshall Plumlee, Thursday was all about sophomore guard Grayson Allen.

In the video, Allen talks about returning for his sophomore season better prepared for what's ahead because he now knows what to expect, and being able to use that to help the current freshman get acclimated. He seems ready to get back out there.

Allen only averaged 9.2 minutes and 4.4 points a game as a freshman, but he'll step into a bigger role this year. And with this kind of focus from an underclassman, it's no wonder Duke will enter the season as defending champs.
