On Thursday night, Duke star Zion Williamson made his return to the court. It’s the first time Williamson has seen the floor for Duke since he suffered an unfortunate knee injury against North Carolina.
After his shoe malfunctioned, Williamson was left sprawled out on the floor nursing a strained knee. He sat for the Blue Devils next five games – including a rematch against North Carolina at the end of the regular season.
However, in Duke’s first ACC Tournament game against Syracuse, Williamson was back. Head coach Mike Krzyzewski wanted to make sure Zion was at 100-percent before re-taking the floor.
He looks healthy tonight.
In the early minutes of the contest against the Orange, Williamson threw down a monster dunk

Yeah, Williamson looks to be just fine for the Blue Devils.
With Zion back on the court, Duke’s presence in the paint has completely changed.
Just under five minutes into the contest against Syracuse, Zion has four of Duke’s six points.
The Orange, fresh off a comeback win over Pitt in their first conference tournament game, came to play yet again tonight.
Syracuse leads Duke 9-6 with just over 15 minutes left to play in the first half.
