Watch: Did Grayson Allen Try To Kick Another Opponent Tonight?

Grayson Allen tangled up with an opponent.

Wherever Duke plays on the road in the ACC, Grayson Allen is the most hated player for opposing teams. Tonight at Virginia Tech was no different.

Allen was booed lustily during pregame intros and every time he touched the ball in the first half. It was during the first 20 minutes when the senior lightning rod may or may not have tried to kick another opponent.

Allen's history of tripping opponents is well-documented, and it has people on the lookout for anything out of the ordinary. Some viewers think they saw something tonight.

It happened when Allen and Virginia Tech's Justin Robinson went after a loose ball. As Allen falls forward, he may or may not try to kick Robinson.

ESPN's Dan Dakich defended Allen for his hustle on the play, which included trying to dive on top of the ball. There didn't appear to be any ill intent there.

But as for the "kick," it is tough to determine if he meant to stick his leg out there or if it was the byproduct of him falling to the ground. Personally, I'd lean toward it being unintentional this time, but Allen hasn't earned the benefit of the doubt from many.

You be the judge.

Allen and the Blue Devils lead the Hokies early in the second half. The senior guard is leading the way with 16 points.
