Syracuse basketball's 95-91 overtime win at Duke last night is even more shocking, because the team couldn't deal with Zion Williamson at all.

The Blue Devils phenom led all scorers with 35 points on just 20 shots, and added 10 rebounds and four blocks.

After a dominant first half, Syracuse managed to slow him down a bit in the second, and he was held scoreless in overtime.

Still, it was impossible to not be impressed with Williamson once again.

Jim Boeheim is among those who had to weigh in on the future one-and-done star.

After the game, he was asked about Zion, and compared him to an NBA Hall of Famer.

Jim Boeheim compared Zion Williamson to Charles Barkley, and used the opportunity to take a dig at his friend, the TNT NBA analyst.

From The Post-Standard:

“He’s a physical specimen," Boeheim said of Williamson after the game. “He’s like Charles Barkely was except he shoots better than Charles did. And he’s not as fat. .... I hope Charles will come back, he’ll have something for me there.”

Boeheim appeared on the Dan Patrick Show this morning, and was surprised by Barkley, who the show brought into the call.

Naturally, the two got some ribbing in.

The Duke win undoes some of the damage of a few bad Syracuse losses from earlier in the year, including Saturday's embarrassing home effort vs. Georgia Tech. As has been the case for the last four or five years, the Orange are one of the most difficult teams in the nation to figure out.
