Zion Williamson didn't need any more hype entering his first (and probably only) season at Duke. Enter: Stephon Marbury.

Marbury, a former No. 4 overall pick out of Georgia Tech, and two-time All-Star, is infatuated by Williamson's potential.

He hopped on Instagram Live from his home in China today to speak with his fans, and spent a lot of the time talking about the young Blue Devils star. That turned into some serious hyperbole.

During the video, Marbury said that Williamson is the only player that has the "opportunity to be better than Michael Jordan" right now, and that he is going to "destroy the whole planet."

A few minutes later, Stephon Marbury added that Zion Williamson is "way better than LeBron James."

The former Suns and Knicks point guard says it is "not even close."

Williamson looked incredibly impressive during Duke's preseason tour up in Canada.

He averaged 29.6 points during the three games, and was the most physically dominant player on the court, including teammate R.J. Barrett, the Canadian superstar who was the No. 1 recruit in the class, ahead of Williamson.

Williamson shot over 65-percent from the field, and knocked down a third of his three-point attempts, though all three makes came in one game.

Better than LeBron, though? The chance to challenge Jordan? We're going to need to see a lot more than that. We look forward to him trying over the next 20 years, though.
