Duke’s men’s basketball team made one of the biggest comebacks of the college basketball’s 2018-19 season on Tuesday night. The Blue Devils, led by their star freshmen, rallied from a 23-point deficit on the road at Louisville.
Coach K’s team trailed by 23 points with about 10 minutes left, going on to beat No. 16 Louisville on the road, 71-69. It was the biggest second-half comeback victory of Coach K’s career.
What inspired the big comeback?
Duke star freshman Zion Williamson revealed what Coach K told his players on the bench before the big comeback.
It was a simple message.
“He said he don’t coach losers, only coach winners,” Williamson told ESPN.

Coach K’s teams have certainly done a lot of winning over the years and this year’s squad is no different, as the Blue Devils appear to be the national title favorite heading into the middle of February.
Duke, 22-2 on the season, is in first place in the ACC. The Blue Devils are set to play N.C. State on Saturday night. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. E.T. The game will be on ESPN.
