Duke continues to trend in the right direction for one of the top uncommitted 2017 basketball recruits.
One of the top players left uncommitted in the class of 2017 is five-star point guard Trevon Duval. Duval is expected to announce his decision soon.
Duke is the clear favorite to land him. In fact, Duval visited campus yesterday, despite some confusion over whether he did or not.
Today, the Blue Devils picked up another 247Sports Crystal Ball prediction, courtesy of Dylan Prezkop of NextUp Recruits. Seventy-eight percent of Duval’s Crystal Ball favors the Blue Devils.
If Duke lands Duval, it will add him to a backcourt that will already include returnees Frank Jackson and Grayson Allen, as well as incoming five-star Gary Trent Jr. and four-star Alex O’Connell.
Duval is the No. 5 player in the 2017 class, according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.
