One week from today, the 2020 ACC Tournament will begin in Greensboro. By next Saturday night, we’ll have crowned a champion.
Most likely, one of these four teams will be cutting down the nets: Duke, the defending champion, Louisville, Florida State or Virginia. But you never know what mayhem might unfold once the games start.
ESPN released its predictions for every conference tournament today. A panel of four experts weighed in with their picks.
Despite Duke’s recent struggles, John Gasaway and Jordan Schultz are banking on the Blue Devils getting themselves in gear and winning another tournament title. Myron Medcalf is picking the Florida State Seminoles, while Jeff Borzello is on Louisville.
One team that won’t be winning is Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets accepted a ban from this year’s event as part of cooperating with the postseason ban the NCAA levied on the program.
By withdrawing its its appeal of the competition penalty levied by the NCAA, Georgia Tech will not participate in the upcoming @accmbb Tournament. #ACCMBBhttps://t.co/2zVS7OtSUz
