Houma (La.) Terrebonne four-star wide receiver Ja’Khi Douglas is a highly-touted wideout with tons of offers to choose from. This afternoon, he announced where he’ll be spending his college career.
Taking to Twitter, Douglas revealed that he would be joining the Florida State Seminoles. Douglas turned down big offers from the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Michigan, Texas A&M, and in-state LSU.
247Sports rates Douglas as the No. 208 overall prospect in the country. He is the No. 37 wide receiver in the nation, and the No. 8 prospect from the state of Louisiana.

The addition of Douglas gives Florida State 15 players in the Class of 2020. More than half of those players are four-star or better.
He will join a Florida State program that saw its decades-long streak of college football bowl game appearances snapped after a 5-7 season. Just about everything that could go wrong went wrong for Willie Taggart’s team in 2018.
But things are certainly looking up for the Seminoles. Their Class of 2019 was ranked No. 19 in the nation and No. 2 in the ACC, while Douglas’ Class of 2020 currently ranks No. 16 in the nation and third in the ACC, per 247Sports.
