Head coach Jimbo Fisher and staff received some excellent news Sunday afternoon regarding Florida State's 2017 recruiting class.
Powder Springs (GA) quarterback Bailey Hockman, a four-star former Georgia commit rated as the No. 7 pro-style quarterback in the class, announced his decision to commit to the Seminoles Sunday afternoon. While programs like Alabama, Georgia and North Carolina seemed to be major contenders, FSU appears to have made the biggest impression.
Hockman is a sold 6-foot-2,192-pounds with fluid motion and a strong arm.
He now becomes the eighth commitment of FSU's 2017 class.
