Update: Francois has now deleted the tweet, which, to say the least, is interesting. We'll keep you updated.
Earlier: It was just three days agothat four-star quarterback recruit Deondre Francois, after taking an official visit to Florida, reaffirmed his commitment to play at the team's rival, Florida State. Thursday afternoon, however, that all changed. Francois announced his decommitment from FSU on Twitter. He did not give any reason regarding his decision.
At Florida State, Francois was expected to face heavy competition for the starting job, as two other high-profile signal-callers - De'Andre Johnson (enrolled) and Kai Locksley (verbally committed) - are also committed to play for the school. It remains to be seen if the Gators did wind up playing a role in Francois changing his mind.
