5 Things You Care About Today In College Sports

Today's best.

Here's what you need to be watching today in college sports:

5. Men's Basketball: Baylor @ No. 8 Kentucky, 12:30 p.m. on CBS - #BBN tries to respond after the loss to Notre Dame on Thursday night. Baylor tries to rebound from an upset loss to College of Charleston. Plus, you get to see Nerlens Noel's hairdo.

4. Football: No. 13 Florida State vs. Georgia Tech, 8:00 p.m. on ESPN - Yes, somehow, this is your ACC Championship. With Miami's self-imposed sanctions, North Carolina's NCAA sanctions and the general "meh" of the ACC Coastal, the Yellow Jackets get a shot at the Orange Bowl. If they lose, however, they'll need a waiver to be eligible for any bowl game.

3. Football: Wisconsin vs. No. 12 Nebraska, 8:17 p.m. on FOX - Another conference championship affected by scandal. With Penn State and Ohio State both ineligible for the postseason this year, a Wisconsin team with a 4-4 conference record will get to play for a chance to go to the Rose Bowl.

2. Football: Texas @ No. 6 Kansas State. 8:00 p.m. on ABC - Oh what could have been. Had Kansas State survived Baylor a few weeks back, the Wildcats would be hosting Texas for a shot at a national championship. But, K-State can still win the Big 12 with a victory and most likely go to the Fiesta Bowl.

1. Football: No. 2 Alabama vs. No. 3 Georgia, 4:00 p.m. on CBS - It really can't get any bigger than this. The SEC Championship also serves as a de facto playoff game for the right to play in the BCS National Championship. Notre Dame awaits the winner.
