One of the top college basketball prospects for 2019 is five-star shooting guard Anthony Edwards out of Holy Spirit Preparatory School in Atlanta. The 6’5″ prospect has yet to make his decision, but we now have some more information about where he could be going.
According to The Cronicle, Duke’s student newspaper, Edwards has cut his list of schools to eight: Duke, Florida State, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan State, North Carolina, and UCLA.
247Sports has Edwards rated as the No. 4 prospect in the country. He is considered the No. 1 SG prospect, and the No. 1 player in the state of Georgia.

The news would certainly be exciting for Kentucky fans, who already have hard commits from two top-10 recruits – Kahlil Whitney and Tyrese Maxey. After missing out on Memphis commit James Wiseman, it’d be a nice consolation for Coach Cal and company.
It should come as no surprise that elite basketball schools from all regions of the country want Edwards’ services. Florida State may be an early favorite, though.
