AP Writer Is Picking Louisville Over Clemson, Florida State In ACC Atlantic

With the 2016 college football campaign rapidly approaching, analysts around the country are starting to make predictions regarding what they believe we'll see unfold on the gridiron. A recent prediction by the AP's Tim Reynolds is turning a few heads.

Reynolds believes that Louisville - not Clemson or Florida State - will win the ACC's Atlantic division. The Tigers and the Seminoles are widely regarded as the two favorites heading into the season. Reynolds also has North Carolina repeating as ACC Coastal champion.

The Cardinals, who return sophomore quarterback Lamar Jackson and the majority of their other starters, are a popular pick this year, but we haven't seen many take them over either Clemson or FSU. Oddly enough, he thinks Clemson will beat Louisville during the season.

...which means, he either believes Clemson will lose two games elsewhere in-conference or the Tigers, Seminoles and Cardinals will beat each other in a triangle, and Louisville will win the tiebreaker.

Is Reynolds crazy, or does Louisville actually have a shot?
