Bills RB Karlos Williams Suspended 4 Games For Substance Abuse Violations

Tom Brady won't be the only NFL player missing the start of the season.

The NFL Network's Ian Rapoport revealed today on Twitter that Bills running back Karlos Williams is officially suspended without pay for the first four games of the 2016 regular season for violating the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse.

Williams was drafted out of Florida State in the 5th round (No. 155) of the 2015 NFL Draft. In his rookie season, he put together a stat line of 517 yards (5.6 average), 11 receptions, 96 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns. 

He will be eligible to return in Week 5 of the regular season, when the Bills play the St. Louis Rams on Sunday, Oct. 9.
