Boston College Blows Out Florida State 35-3

Florida State's bowl chances are on life support.

Florida State kicked off the 2017 season as the No. 3-ranked team in the country with College Football Playoff aspirations. At the end of October, the Seminoles' chances of just playing in a bowl game are on life support.

FSU, which has been hammered with injuries, lost again on Friday night - this time in embarrassing fashion. Boston College crushed the Seminoles 35-3 in one of the most lopsided affairs of the Jimbo Fisher era.

BC ran for 241 yards - including 149 from A.J. Dillon - while shutting down Florida State's offense. FSU quarterback James Blackman finished 11-of-26 for 102 yards and an interception. The team also rushed for just 64 yards on 29 carries.

The loss puts the Seminoles at 2-5 with just four games to play - including one against Clemson. They'll attempt to get their season back on track at home against Syracuse next Saturday.
