It's no secret that most teams that have run into the Florida State Seminoles over the past two years have had a hard time keeping up with their athleticism. But what Citadel offensive lineman Victor Hill claims he and his teammates did to try to counteract it is certainly not admirable. Hill, responding to an article written on The Post and Courier, told readers via Facebook that he and his fellow offensive linemen tried to "contribute" to FSU's injury list by "going for their knees" the entire game. For reference, three of the Seminoles' defensive linemen did wind up with leg injuries during the game.

According to Tomahawk Nation, Hill has since apologized and the school itself has issued a statement regarding the matter. It's implied that he will be disciplined for his actions.
It's certainly frustrating to have to play an opponent like Florida State, but there is no excuse for something like this. Still, the more mind-boggling thing here might be that Hill went on Facebook and admitted it.
