The 2016 college football season is only two months away, which means everyone's favorite time of the year, bowl season, will be here before you know it, too.
In anticipation of the regular season - and bowl season - being on the way, let's take a look at college football's longest active bowl streaks.
Here are the 10 longest active bowl streaks in the country.
1. Florida State - 34 years
2. Virginia Tech - 23
3. Georgia - 19
4. Oklahoma - 17
5. LSU - 16
6. (tie) Boise State, Wisconsin - 14
8. Alabama - 12
9. (tie) BYU, Clemson - 11

Most - if not all - of these bowl streaks should continue in 2016.
The biggest question marks are probably Virginia Tech and Wisconsin. The Hokies are moving on from the Frank Beamer era and have a first-year coach in Justin Fuente. The Badgers, meanwhile, play what is potentially the toughest schedule in the country. Wisconsin has a good, talented team, but losing six-plus games is a possibility.
