Check out the schedules for the Cowboys Classic and the Chick-fil-A Kickoff games all the way through the year 2020.
The 2016 national champion has yet to be crowned, but that doesn’t mean we can’t look ahead to the 2017 college football season, because, let’s be real, it’s never to early to think about next season. With that in mind, let’s check out which teams are on the docket to play during opening weekend in the Cowboys Classic and the Chick-fil-A Kickoff.
The headline is probably the 2020 Florida State-West Virginia Chick-fil-A Kickoff game, which appears to be a new announcement. The other games were previously announced.
CollegeFootballTalk’s Bryan Fischer tweeted the details of the two series. Check it out:
Cowboys Classic at AT&T Stadium goes as follows:
2017 – Michigan/Florida
2018 – LSU/Miami
2019 – Oregon/Auburn https://t.co/QAKsEVGf6a— Bryan Fischer (@BryanDFischer) January 5, 2017
Michigan and Florida? Alabama and FSU? Those are two games I can get behind immediately. Georgia Tech and Tennessee…Eh, I’ll watch it but I probably won’t enjoy it. But seriously, the lineup for the next several years looks VERY solid. Duke should probably start preparing for their 2019 matchup against Alabama, like, right this instant. They’re going to need it.
