The Clemson football program had one of its best seasons ever in 2013.
Last year, the Tigers went 11-2, notching a win against Ohio State in the Sugar Bowl to conclude their campaign. Dabo Swinney's program also defeated Georgia. The two losses came against Florida State in a blowout, 51-14, and to South Carolina, 31-17.
It was hard for Swinney to celebrate Clemson's season, though, because of who the two losses were against, and how good those two programs were.

Swinney, of course, is speaking about Florida State and South Carolina. The Seminoles went 14-0, winning the national championship, while the Gamecocks went 11-2 with a win against Wisconsin in the Capital One Bowl.
Perhaps 2014 will be different. Clemson faces Florida State this Saturday in Tallahassee and hosts South Carolina Nov. 29.
