Florida State junior wide receiver Da'Vante Phillips could be in serious legal trouble, according to a new report.
Despite having just five career catches, Phillips was set to be one of the more veteran players at the position for the 'Noles.
Now, his college football career could be in jeopardy.
Jim Henry of The Tallahassee Democrat broke the news moments ago.
Phillips has been suspended indefinitely by the program.
As Tomahawk Nation notes, if Phillips is removed from the team, it would leave the Seminoles with just six scholarship wide receivers available this season.
We'll update as more comes out about this situation involving Phillips.
