ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit Unveils 4 Teams He Has In College Football Playoff After Week 5

After this past Saturday's action, there are still 17 college football teams that are undefeated so far this season. It won't come as a surprise that ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit has four of them in his College Football Playoff - at least, at the moment.

After each week this season, Herbstreit has been revealing a list of which four teams he believes have done enough to warrant a spot in the inaugural playoff, if it were to start today. This week, his foursome is unchanged, as Oklahoma, Alabama, Oregon and Florida State retain their positions.

The Seminoles are actually the only team that played Saturday, so it's no surprise that Herbstreit didn't make any changes. That being said, Florida State struggled to put away NC State, so he easily could have dropped them from the list.

There are arguments to be made for Auburn, Texas A&M, Notre Dame, UCLA and Baylor - until conference play really heats up, we won't where they stand against top competition. Herbstreit probably has it right at the moment, but it's all subject to change very quickly.
