From the report:
Florida State wide receiver George Campbell has confirmed with Noles247 that he intends to leave the program and will not play for FSU in 2019. Campbell entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal on Jan. 16. It’s unclear where Campbell is heading, but it is now known that he will not return to FSU.
Campbell was one of the top recruits in the country coming out of high school. He was ranked the No. 3 wide receiver and No. 19 overall recruit in the class by 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.
The former top recruit has struggled with injuries during his time at Florida State, though, and appears to be interested in a fresh start.
