Florida State Announces Its Sept. 20 Game Against Clemson Will Be A National Game In Primetime

Last season, Florida State unofficially announced its national title candidacy in a primetime game against Clemson. The Seminoles traveled to Death Valley for an 8 p.m. nationally-televised contest against the Tigers and left with an extremely impressive 51-14 victory.

This season's contest between Jimbo Fisher and Dabo Swinney's programs will also be in primetime.

Florida State is 2-0 this season, while Clemson is 1-1 with a loss to Georgia.

Tallahassee seems to be a potential destination for ESPN's "College GameDay" program that Saturday, too, as the bout between the Seminoles and the Tigers is, as of right now, the only game between two top 25 teams that weekend.
