Florida State will kick off the Willie Taggart Era on Monday night against Virginia Tech. They will do so in style.

The Seminoles announced their uniform choice for the game earlier today. They're rocking an alternate look.

More specifically, they are going with a black-on-black ensemble.

Some FSU fans might balk at not wearing traditional uniforms in the season opener. However, it looks like the players love the idea. According to Taggart, the team's unity council approved of the look.

Florida State and Virginia Tech will get started at 8 p.m. ET on Monday.

The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
