Florida State Freshman WR Announces He's Playing Baseball Instead

An incoming Florida State freshman wide receiver has taken to Twitter to announce that he won't be playing for the Seminoles in 2019.
Maurice Goolsby, a 6-foot-5 wideout, announced on social media that he won't be playing for the Seminoles.
"Due to certain situations I will not be attending FSU this summer," he wrote. "I will be taking a different route and that route being baseball."
Goolsby is a three-star incoming freshman out of Dunnellon, Florida.
Goolsby was ranked the No. 54 WR in the 2019 class, per 247Sports' Composite Rankings.
The three-star wide receiver was a part of Florida State's '19 class, ranked No. 20 in the country and No. 2 in the ACC.
