Florida State Is Having A Really Tough Time Scheduling White House Visit

When a major sports team wins a championship in the United States, they're honored with a shiny trophy, blinged-out title rings, and, eventually, a visit to the White House to see the president.

The 2013 Florida State football team has received the first two things on that list; the latter aspect might not happen, though.

“We’re trying. It looks like it’s going to be hard because all the pro players are going, coaches are going on vacation,” FSU coach Jimbo Fisher said. “We’ve tried to give them a thousand dates, but we couldn’t get it worked out.”

Each of the last 10 college football national champions have made the visit to the White House. Auburn's 2010 team was the only squad that made the visit following the March after they won it all.
