Miami may have 20 (!) verbal commitments in the 2016 class already, but they no longer have the country's top class. With the commitment of five star cornerback Levonta Taylor, the Florida State Seminoles have jumped their rivals. Out of 13 commitments, 10 of the potential future Seminoles are blue chip prospects, per 247Sports' composite rankings.
Florida State now has Taylor and five star pro-style quarterback Malik Henry in the mix, and have loaded up on defense thus far, with four outside linebackers and three defensive linemen. If there are any questions about Florida State succeeding after the departure of Jameis Winston, Jimbo Fisher is answering them in recruiting.
