Two woefully underachieving ACC teams face off this week in the Florida State vs. Syracuse game at Doak Campbell Stadium.

Florida State has not been able to build off of last year's 5-7 record under second-year head coach Willie Taggart. They're off to a 3-4 start and are still reeling from last week's close loss to Wake Forest. Granted, all of the Noles' losses have come to teams that are currently ranked, but Taggart's seat is getting very warm.

Syracuse is in no position to laugh at FSU's current struggles though. After going 10-3 last year, the Orange are 3-4 and winless against Power Five teams. The losses have not been pretty either. In Weeks 2 and 3 they were outscored 104-26 to Maryland and Clemson. Suffice it to say, the hype around head coach Dino Babers is starting to decline.

But as bad as both of the teams have been against Power Five teams this year, FSU is the only one of the two to actually beat one. As a result, the sports books have installed the Noles as double-digit favorites.

Here are the details for the game:

Game Time: 3:30 PM ET

Channel: ESPN2

Spread: Florida State -10.5

Over/Under: 59.5

Announcers: Beth Mowins, Anthony Becht, Rocky Boiman

Syracuse won this matchup last year, ending a ten-game losing streak to Florida State that dated back 50 years.

If Orange fans want to get their first-ever winning streak over the Seminoles, they'll need to overcome some steep odds this week.
