Florida vs. Florida State preview:
Florida State (8-3) is coming off of a 45-14 win over Syracuse for its third win in a row. Florida (8-2) beat LSU a week ago 16-10 to clinch the SEC East. The Gators are winners of two straight contests.
Florida was out gained by LSU 423 yards to 270 yards, but forced two turnovers by the Tigers which stood to be a huge difference. The Gators stuffed LSU on a goal line stand as time expired to win the game. Jordan Scarlett rushed for 108 yards on 22 carries.
Florida State dominated the Orange putting up 654 yards on the day including 334 yards on the ground. Dalvin Cook rushed for 225 yards and four touchdowns on 28 carries. Deondre Francois went 18-for-28 through the air for 315 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.
Florida State beat Florida last season by a score of 27-2.
Florida vs. Florida State Prediction:
After last week's win over LSU, it will be interesting to see how the Gators come out of the gates against the 'Noles. Florida could be motivated or it could be looking ahead to the SEC title game.
Florida has the defense to keep up with the Seminoles, but Cook and Francois may be too much for the Gators. Florida State's offense causes some trouble and the Gators offense won't be able to keep up.
