FSU Fan Launches Fundraising Campaign For "Keep Al Golden" Banner For Miami Game

The Miami Hurricanes are 3-0, but the anti-Al Golden sentiment is alive in South Florida. Multiple banners calling for Golden's ouster flew over the stadium before Miami's game against Nebraska last weekend.

Well, Florida State fan Joseph Johnson thinks Golden is doing just fine at The U, and has started a GoFundMe page to raise money for a "Keep Al Golden" banner to fly over Doak Campbell Stadium when the two teams meet on Oct. 10.

Johnson's GoFundMe page reads:

Al Golden has done a terrific job in keeping Miami irrelevant, Cane fans want him gone. However in Tallahassee we love Coach Golden, that's why we want to show our love in 3 weeks when the canes come to Tallahassee, with a banner that will fly over the stadium...for an hour.

Of course, the Seminoles have won five straight meetings with the 'Canes, including all four during Golden's tenure. Rivalries are fantastic.
