Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston spoke at ACC Media Days yesterday. As he usually does whenever he gets behind a microphone, Winston was dynamic and gave several interesting quotes, like his statement on Alabama, Auburn and the SEC. However, there was one thing that Winston said that was very intriguing: his thoughts on college football players getting paid. While many players have expressed that they would like to get some money that they generate through tickets sales and things of that nature, Winston has a different approach, saying that a free education is good enough for him.

Based on what other athletes have said on this subject, Winston is in the minority with this position. Even if you don't agree with his stance, hearing an athlete go against the grain on such a touchy subject is always interesting.
