Former Florida State Running Back James Wilder Jr. Battles Twitter Trolls, Claims Seminoles Will Win National Title

For the first time in a long time, Florida State isn't being looked at as the favorite in the ACC - that distinction now belongs to Clemson. But not everyone in Tallahassee thinks the squad is going to have a down season. Former FSU running back James Wilder Jr. believes that the Seminoles have what it takes to win the national championship this season. He claims that his opinion doesn't come with bias - but, obviously, that's a bit hard to believe.

Wilder made the comments as part of a thread that was somehow started by adult film star Mia Khalifa. He then responded to a Twitter troll with a photo of his championship rings after he was asked about FSU's recent string of arrests.

The ACC is more competitive than it's often given credit for, but it's still fair to assume that whichever team wins the league will need to go undefeated to find itself in the College Football Playoff. Can FSU pull it off for the third year in a row?
