
Largo (Fla.) four-star linebacker Jayion McCluster is staying in-state for college. McCluster announced his commitment to Florida State moments ago on Instagram Live.
McCluster picked the Seminoles over Miami and Auburn. His decision comes a few weeks after he visited Tallahassee unofficially.
McCluster is the No. 10 inside linebacker and the 317th-rated player in the 2020 class, according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.
He’s also the younger cousin of former Ole Miss star and NFL running back Dexter McCluster.

Florida State is off to a strong start in 2020 recruiting. The Seminoles currently have the No. 6 class in the country.
Seven of FSU’s 11 commitments in the class of 2020 are four-star prospects. If there is an area the ‘Noles can improve, it is landing top Florida recruits. Their highest-rated 2020 commit is the No. 19 player in the Sunshine State.
