Jimbo Fisher Says Jameis Winston's Ankle Is "Fine"

In the second half of Florida State's big come-from-behind victory over Louisville this past Thursday night, star quarterback Jameis Winston had his ankle twisted by a Cardinals player. The Heisman Trophy winner never took himself out of the game, but he was limping significantly down the stretch. Monday, head coach Jimbo Fisher addressed Winston's health, and made it clear that his star quarterback will be both practicing and playing in this week's game against UVA.

Virginia is a much-improved team compared to a year ago, so having a healthy Winston could be essential for the Seminoles to keep their undefeated season alive. Expect him to be ready to go.
