Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher provided a Josh Sweat injury update on Thursday night.
According to Fisher, the sophomore defensive end will miss this week's game against USF after having meniscus surgery on his left knee.
Sweat played against Louisville last week after hurting his knee in practice leading up to the game. He is expected to be back in a week or two.
Florida State and USF kick off at noon on Saturday on ABC. It's a key bounce back game for the 'Noles and a potential statement game for the Bulls.
