Carolina's Kelvin Benjamin Scores First TD Of 2016 NFL Season

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin missed the entire 2015 season, but he started 2016 off with a bang.

Kelvin Benjamin, who tore his ACL in training camp ahead of the 2015 season, scored the first touchdown of the 2016 NFL season on Thursday night. Quarterback Cam Newton found Benjamin for a 14-yard score on the team's first possession in its rematch with the Denver Broncos. The score gave the Panthers a 7-0 lead.

Benjamin was the 28th overall pick for the Panthers back in the 2014 draft. He's expected to be a solid player for the franchise for years to come.
