Minutes after Florida State's 31-27 win against Notre Dame, Jimbo Fisher grabbed his star-but-often-troubled quarterback Jameis Winston. The Seminoles' coach brought the 2013 Heisman winner in close, whispering into his ear before a clutter of TV cameras.
"Now here's what you've got to do," Fisher said. "Calm down. Don't give them that over-exuberant look. Act very passive right here and get people back on your side. You understand what I'm telling you? Humble. Humble pie."
It was an odd conversation captured by TV microphones, but NBA star LeBron James was apparently impressed by it.

Fisher clearly isn't the world's greatest whisperer, but he's a heck of a football coach. With the win, Florida State improved to 7-0, 4-0 in the ACC.
