Miami Hurricanes Open As Favorite Against Florida State For First Time Since 2010

The Miami Hurricanes opened as the favorite to beat Florida State for the first time since 2010.

The undefeated Miami Hurricanes sit at No. 10 in the nation, while rival Florida State dropped to No. 23 after a loss to North Carolina last week. Now, according to OddsShark, Miami is favored to beat the Seminoles for the first time since 2010, when Florida State won 45-17 after coming into the game as a 5.5 point underdog.

Miami enters this contest having won all four games to start its season, while Florida State has dropped two of its last three. The Seminoles were ranked No. 2 when they lost to Louisville in a blowout, and dropped another ACC contest against North Carolina last weekend on a last-second field goal.

The Seminoles have won the last six meetings against the Hurricanes. Three of those games were decided by five points or fewer.

Kickoff is slated for 8:00 p.m. E.T. and will kickoff from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. ABC is broadcasting the game.
