New York Giants Reportedly Cut FSU Alum Travis Rudolph

Two former Florida State players got some tough news on Saturday morning.

Former Florida State wide receiver Travis Rudolph, who went undrafted but later signed with the New York Giants, was cut on Saturday morning despite a solid preseason.

It's also been reported that former FSU kicker Roberto Aguayo was cut by the Chicago Bears just weeks after being cut by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Rudolph news is more surprising - especially considering how he performed against the New England Patriots this past week (three catches for 46 yards). He also played well against the Jets.

Aguayo, who was a first round pick last year, is one of the most disappointing players in recent memory. He was one of the historically great kickers in college football history - but it just didn't translate to NFL success.

We'll see if either lands anywhere else as the season rolls on.
