Legendary college basketball broadcaster Dick Vitale is a mainstay in his home town of Tampa Bay, so naturally he’s supporting the Lightning in their quest for the Stanley Cup. He’s watching tonight’s game with the city’s newest sports superstar—former Florida State quarterback and Buccaneers No. 1 pick Jameis Winston. Winston has quickly adopted the Lightning as his team, which should endear him to the local fans, though he likely didn’t need much help with that. Tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins is also around for the festivities.
Unfortunately for this trio, the Lightning are having a rough go of it, and trail the New York Rangers 6-2 midway through the third period. With a loss, the series will go to 3-3, with game seven heading back to Madison Square Garden.
