Fisher's relationships with FSU administrators could play a key role in whether he stays or goes.

According to a report from the Tallahassee Democrat, the relationship between Jimbo Fisher and several key Florida State administrators will be a major factor in whether or not the head coach jumps ship for Texas A&M or not.

And with the current statuses of those relationships, it looks like he's long gone.

Per the Democrat:

“The football coach has three key relationships,” one of those sources said. “The president of the university, the athletics director and the president of the Boosters."

"Only one of those is healthy.”

Not great!

According to the report, the only "healthy" relationship Fisher has is with FSU president John Thrasher, who was hired in 2014. Fisher's relationships with FSU's Boosters president Andy Miller and athletic director Stan Wilcox, however, apparently leave a lot to be desired.

The friction ostensibly has to do somewhat with Fisher's insistence on building new football facilities and the university dragging its feet, and Fisher might feel like going someplace where he might have more control or more support. Texas A&M could certainly be able offering him that and then some.
